JumpStart Success
Your Guide for Job Readiness and Career Exploration
YouthWorks is proud to offer JumpStart Success, a work-readiness and career exploration program. This program was designed for youth ages 14 to 25 with a special emphasis on youth from disadvantaged communities, creating a level playing field for this population.
JumpStart Success is aligned to the Pennsylvania Department of Education's Academic Standards for Career Education and Work as well as the Three Rivers Workforce Investment Board's Work Ready Competencies. This alignment ensures that our region's youth are equipped with the core competencies associated with entry-level positions as well as the tools to navigate their individualized career plans.
Research indicates that youth who are career-focused and work-ready have a greater earning potential over a lifetime resulting in tangible and intangible benefits to those individuals, their families and their communities.
