Job Shadow Day

On February 2, 2007, YouthWorks, Inc. conducted a successful Job Shadow Day for over 26 local students in the Greater Pittsburgh area.

On the same day Punxsutawney Phil, Pennsylvania’s official groundhog, failed to see his shadow, shadows appeared all around Allegheny County.  In conjunction with National Job Shadow Day, more than 26 YouthWorks participants shadowed some of the movers and shakers in the Greater Pittsburgh area.  Business and civic leaders welcomed them for an up close and personal look at a wide range of careers.  Here are some of the lucky young people and individuals they shadowed:
