YOUTH AT WORK:
Building Dreams & Futures
 
On Wednesday, September 19th, more than 150 people joined YouthWorks in celebrating what youth can achieve when given the tools and the opportunity.
 
Participating youth, parents, leaders from the community and business sectors and YouthWorks staff and board came together at the first annual Youth at Work: Building Dreams and Futures event at the New Hazlett Theater.  Andrew Stockey, Channel 4 Action News Anchor, WTAE-TV, served as Master of Ceremonies. Highlights of the evening were the premiered of a DVD showcasing YouthWorks programs, partners and participating youth, a mock youth-led investigative news report, and awards honoring outstanding participation for 06-07.
